Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Coordinate and manage non-conformance products from customers.
· Coordinate and manage non-conformance products from suppliers.
· Assure appropriate follow through and documentation on all nonconformance issues (Corrective and Preventative Actions).
· Assure that audits are developed and completed to identify issues, concerns or trends.
· Routinely and randomly inspects parts to assure compliance.
· Coordinates calibration and measurement of equipment procedure.
· Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
· Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives specific to Colby Metal policies and goals.
· Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures.
· Interprets quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization.
· Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
· Provides inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
· Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.
