OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing preventive, scheduled and unforeseen maintenance on the Coleman Oil heavy duty vehicles. This role is also responsible for keeping and storing complete records of repairs. The candidate will travel to and from different sights to complete maintenance on the vehicles, with the occasional overnight stay. This is a hybrid position, both shop work and mobile work. Candidate should be punctual, hard-working, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Joining an excellent group of individuals in a very positive, hardworking, fast-paced atmosphere.
Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Diesel service technicians
- Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.
- Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test diesel engine systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck and trailer systems including fuel system, air systems, tank plumbing and valves, ABS, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized repair equipment.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune ups.
- Advise drivers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.

- Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles, and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
- Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems.
COMPENSATION:
Starting Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 DOE
Salary Range: $30.00 to $40.00 DOE

Other – Employees may be eligible for an annual bonus.
