Professor, Engineering (Fall 2025)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Professor of Engineering to join our faculty at Collin College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing coursework in engineering, as well as participating in departmental and college-wide activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with the course syllabus and college policy
• Develop and maintain curriculum in engineering fields
• Advise and assist students in academic matters
• Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and task forces
• Maintain current knowledge and competence in engineering disciplines

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunication engineering, systems engineering, or controls engineering
• Industry and/or teaching experience in the field preferred

Working Conditions:

The position is located on the Collin College campus in Fairview, TX. The work environment is an office setting with some classroom instruction. The physical demands of the job are light, requiring exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly.

Salary : $61,128 - $76,428
