The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do:
- You will lead the design, development, and maintaining of flight-critical embedded software for military avionics displays supporting programs such as KC-135, AWACS, C-130, E-2D and beyond.
- You will conduct engineering processes and standard work, including verification, design, and qualification procedures.
- You will assist in conducting disciplinary research on one or more stages of the equipment design phase to develop design options and recommendations.
- You will determine end user needs by analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements and input data acquisition.
- You will assist an engineering team by organizing tasks, coordinating team efforts, asking questions, communicating status, raising issues, brainstorming ideas, helping others, practicing active listening, and promoting a collaborative environment.
- You will learn the technologies of today and tomorrow which we count on to maintain world leadership in the avionics industry.
- You will learn all phases of the software product life cycle from requirements through to verification, while employing the company software engineering processes to produce high quality products.
- You will learn the artifacts and aspects of product certification required by federal agencies.

- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
