Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Vault, ensuring accurate tracking of coin and currency, and providing exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of the Vault.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate tracking of coin and currency in the Vault
- Count and verify all cash/coin/ticket transactions in the Cage area
- Assist the Cage Supervisor with all transactions within the department
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures
- Ensure that floor locations are adequately stocked with automated Currency Transaction Kiosks and automated Jackpot machines
- Verify that coin shipments and currency bank deposits are prepared accurately and timely
- Organize the contents of the vault to ensure efficient counting at shift change
- Prepare and complete all job-related paperwork, including cash count sheets, coin transfers, and bank summary sheets
- Reconcile inventories at the end of each shift
- Forward end-of-shift and end-of-day paperwork to accounting for review and retention
- Reconcile automated jackpot machines as required
- Safeguard assigned cash drawer and Casino assets
- Count and verify all transactions in the Cage at the beginning and end of each shift
- Maintain accurate cage cash transmittal forms and other paperwork
- Maintain confidentiality of Casino Operations data
- Perform other duties as assigned
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Company
- Obtain and retain required licenses
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department
- Have knowledge of the Property's programs to address problem gaming
- Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must have at least two years of experience as a cashier or bank teller
- Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Virginia Racing Commission License
- Valid Driver's License with a minimum of three years of driving experience
