What you will do:
We are looking for an Credentialing Coordinator I like you who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the day-to-day functions will look like:
Performs timely and accurate practitioner and organizational credentialing and re-credentialing functions in accordance with Colorado Access and NCQA standards and State and Federal requirements that includes application review and follow-up, primary and secondary source verification.
Coordinates the application process and maintains practitioner initial credentialing and re-credentialing to include database entry, tracking and follow-up.
Effectively communicates with providers and their office staff to obtain information needed for credentialing.
Prepares files for the Senior Medical Director and Credentialing Committee review.
Assists in maintaining the credentialing database for the provider directories.
Assists the Provider Network Services team and the Configuration department with status questions.Researches and follows up on provider participating status in the claims system.Consistently meets department quality, service and production standards.
What you will bring:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Two-year degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
Experience: Two years’ experience; prior managed care experience helpful. Previous provider credentialing experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Microsoft products and using internet search engines such as Google. Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values. Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail required along with being familiar with the Health Care Delivery System/HMO and NCQA standards. Strong organizational skills are required, including the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities. Able to work independently and as part of a team. May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.
Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.

Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access:
The compensation for this position is $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 and is a non-exempt (hourly) position. The pay rate/salary is commensurate with experience.

This position will be a hybrid model work environment, a blend of ‘In-Office’ and ‘Remote.’
We are not able to support out of state employees at this time as we continue to serve our members and community in the metro Denver area and across the beautiful state of Colorado.
