Summary
Colorado Network Staffing, Inc. (CNS) is seeking a qualified and motivated Secretary II to support a federal agency in Loveland, Colorado. This position plays a key administrative role within an engineering environment, handling a wide range of office support functions. The Secretary II ensures efficient office operations by managing correspondence, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and supporting internal systems and personnel processes.
Essential Functions

This position will perform the following key responsibilities:
Screen telephone calls, visitors, and correspondence; respond to inquiries regarding office procedures and determine appropriate routing for requests.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conferences; prepare and assemble background materials; may attend meetings and record minutes.
Review outgoing documents for proper formatting, grammar, punctuation, and procedural compliance; ensure necessary approvals are obtained.
Prepare and finalize various documents including letters, reports, memoranda, specifications, and legal/technical materials using Microsoft Office Suite.
Provide data entry and electronic file support using federal systems such as FIMS, STRIPES, ATAAPS, MAXIMO, and Concur.
Coordinate travel arrangements per Federal Travel Regulations (FTR); complete and process travel authorizations and reimbursements.
Support invoice processing and reconciliation of monthly credit card statements; address payment discrepancies with vendors and provide end-of-period financial reporting.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems; scan, archive, and close out files and contracts.
Assist with processing employee documentation including background checks, benefits, Workers' Compensation, drug testing, and physicals.
Coordinate administrative forms and documentation on behalf of the office and personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor in line with position responsibilities and federal requirements.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of five (5) years of related administrative experience.
Experience supporting engineering, construction, or project management teams preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable navigating government or enterprise database systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications
Must be able to pass a federal background check.
U.S. work authorization required.
Work Environment
This role is performed in a professional office setting. The employee regularly interacts with internal staff, management, and external contacts. The position involves standard office equipment use and requires maintaining confidentiality of sensitive government information.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Loveland, CO.
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Assignment Length: Ongoing.
Compensation
Pay Rate: $21.44/hour $4.93/hour Health & Welfare benefit
