What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gynecologic Oncology Patient Acct Rep position at Colquitt Regional Medical Center?
Coordinate new referrals, schedule, and first patient visits, as well as greet and register each patient appointment. Work with the clinical team to obtain all needed external records, as well as assist in the scheduling and precertification of surgery procedures and infusions.
Gynecologic Oncology specifically involves the diagnosis and treatment of female pelvic and reproductive cancers, including endometrial, ovarian, and uterine, as well as a multitude of other disease states affecting women. Patients are widely referred from around the entire southeast. Primary interventions include surgical care and biopsies, but also chemotherapy management and referrals for radiation
