Job Purpose:
Care for the wellness of patients as well as seeing to the maintenance of the office building. This position requires a self-starter and a highly responsible candidate who will ensure that all patients are cared for appropriately and understands the importance of maintaining a clean environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Care for the wellness of patients.
Administer medications
Walking and feeding patients
Changing bedding
General Maintenance.
Laundry
Sweeping and Mopping floors
Maintaining cleanliness of kennels
Dishes
Trash/Recycling Disposal
Inventory Upkeep
Restocking supplies in the hospital
Restocking food as delivered
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will be a self-starting, trustworthy and highly motivated individual. He or she will be prepared to help out the hospital staff and assist where needed. There are quite a few duties and responsibilities required of this position, so someone organized and responsible is a must. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. This is a physically demanding position that requires cleaning in large cages low to the ground.
