What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Closer position at Columbia Athletic Clubs?
Part Time: $18 – $20/hr
Position Summary:
Applicant must be 18yrs or older with at least 1yr experience in customer service. Shift hours are roughly 4-10:30pm a couple days per week.
The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for greeting members, guests, and Columbia Athletic club visitors. This position is responsible for providing friendly service and creating a positive atmosphere for those entering the facilities. This individual provides members, guests and visitors with programs and activities information, in person or on the phone and takes program/activities reservations and sign-ups. Also, they will check in members and distribute towels. The Front Desk Attendant will operate the juice bar and pro shop, participate in cleaning of the Club, stock supplies as well as maintain and launder towel service for members. When assigned to an opening or closing shift this position will be consider a lead role which will hold a higher level of responsibility. Work is reviewed in terms of guest and visitor interaction/satisfaction, knowledge of Club facilities, dependability, and the ability to interact and communicate with people.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Six months’ experience in a customer service position
- CPR certified
- Food Handler’s Health Certificate (as required by specific location)
- Available to work varied schedule including nights and weekends
