Columbia Energy and Environmental Services is an established small business headquartered in Richland, WA. We offer full-service engineering, design, fabrication, instrumentation and controls, and technology development. Our company is dedicated to the pursuit and execution of fixed-price design/build/test projects for federal and commercial clients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with industrial metal fabrication experience to join our team.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Project Management: Oversee fabrication and testing projects from inception through delivery, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, testing, packaging, and delivery.
- Scheduling: Develop detailed project schedules that reflect resource availability, customer needs, and company priorities.
- Client Interaction: Interface with clients in a concise and professional manner.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in reviewing, evaluating, and developing resource estimates for project proposals.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal resources to ensure the quality, cost, and schedule performance of projects.
- Problem Resolution: Lead the project execution team to anticipate and resolve issues that impact the success of assigned projects.
- Safety: Maintain a safety focus in all aspects of assigned roles and work safely in both office and shop environments.
- Multitasking: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively communicate with customers and staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing fabrication and testing projects.
- Demonstrated ability to balance priorities to achieve desired business outcomes.
- History of working effectively on teams comprising engineers, technicians, and craftspeople.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Materials Science and Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:
- Project management experience with Department of Energy projects.
- Expertise in fabrication, testing, and inspection methods.
- Broad understanding of industrial fabrication means and methods, including welding processes and fabrication equipment.
- Self-starter with the ability to focus on project needs and delivery schedules while supporting business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills while contributing to project teams.

Salary : $95,000 - $180,000
