Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Dental Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments and processing payments for clinical services.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients, schedule appointments and process payments for clinical services.
- Responsible for billing and collection activities, issuing receipts, responding to patient inquiries, posting payments and reconciling financial data in the system.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate
- A minimum of one year of related experience
- Knowledge of clinic computerized scheduling/chart/billing systems.
- Employee must be extremely personable and possess excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish).
- Employee must also establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and students.
