Medical Patient Registration Specialist

Columbus Oncology is looking for a full-time Medical Patient Registration Specialist to join our team! This position would primarily be located at the Jasonway Cancer Center in Columbus.

What will you do? 

• Be the first person to set the tone for the patients by engaging and welcoming them when entering our clinic. 
• Verify and  update demographic and insurance information. 
• Collect and post time of service payments, including copays and deductibles.
• Check patients in for their visits. 
• Reconcile daily payments. 
• Conduct eligibility verification utilizing our practice system, and insurance payer portals.  

What will you need to be successful? 

• Must have at least one (1) year of Medical Patient Registration experience
• Have the ability to learn our technology platforms, which include NextGen and Phressia 
• Engage with our patients in a friendly and professional manner at all times.
• Maintain exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to pivot when priorities change.
