STAFF FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (5 DAYS A WEEK)
•REVIEW OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCESS ENSURING PROPER CHART OF ACCOUNTS, CUSTOMER AND LOCATION
•DAILY TREASURY MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING
•MONTHLY RECONCILIATION WITH PRACTICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
•PROCESS QUARTERLY SALES & USE TAX AND COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY TAX
•ASSIST IN COMPILATION OF MONTHLY/QUARTERLY/ANNUAL FINANCIAL & MANAGEMENT REPORTS
•MAINTAIN/ANALYZE INSURANCE AND LOAN INFORMATION SPREADSHEETS
•ASSIST WITH DATA / ANALYTICS REPORTING (BENCHMARKING, CONTRACTING, ACA & ERISA COMPLIANCE, ETC.)
•ASSIST WITH BUSINESS MODELING, SCORECARDS, OPERATIONAL DASHBOARD DEVELOPMENT
What is expected of you for success in your role: Demonstrate depth and breadth of healthcare/accounting knowledge and skills; provide direct assistance to finance leadership; work independently on special projects; professionally interact with internal and external business associates and vendors; prioritizes issues for review using knowledge of practice and business; uses range of technology to complete work in the most expedient way; review reports, other data and compile in executive review format; comply with confidentiality policies and procedures; assists in handling confidential business matters; provides design input and assist with implementing procedures; shares technology knowledge to build capability with other Business Office team members; provides information to others through various communication channels regarding business matters, processes and/or procedures; uses practice knowledge to assist others with office operations and demonstrates outstanding organizational skills.
Qualifications: Degree in related field; 2 years of experience in healthcare; Proficient in MS Office and accounting programs, NextGen experience preferred; Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
