Columbus School for Girls seeks to hire an energetic and creative full-time Middle School Mathematics teacher to begin in the 2023-2024 academic year. Requirements

Major Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of middle school mathematics classes for grades 6, 7, and 8, including a pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry
  • Lead an advisory group. 
  • Participate actively in the life of the school, including leading clubs and/or activities, chaperoning school trips (including a potential overnight trip), and possibly coaching. 

Experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to teach a scope of different levels (standard, advanced, honors).
  • Strong candidates will have at least three years of experience teaching.
