AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY*
Our Audio-Visual (A/V) Technician is responsible for assisting lead technicians installing and servicing systems and products in-house and on-site at client locations throughout the southeast (Georgia/Alabama/Florida - Other states as necessary). He/she will also perform low-voltage (L/V) tasks such as cable termination (RJ45/RJ11/COAX/BNC), minor control system programming/servicing, and warehouse organization (shipping/receiving/tracking). He/she will be assigned to one lead technician for training and certification with the expectation that they will progress into a lead technician role over time (if desired).
AUDIO VISUAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Responsible for maintaining uniform and basic toolkit
- Maintain a professional appearance and timeliness in accordance with company policy
- Train and certify according to the outlined CE plan
- Report to the assigned lead technician and assist as necessary
- Work as part of a team - flexibly working with other lead technicians
- Be familiar with basic surveillance, networking, video, and audio systems and terminology
- Open to working scheduled late hours and weekends as necessary (unlikely/rare)
- Communicate clearly through email and spoken word with staff and clients
- Job-site cleanliness and adherence to job-site standards, to include safety
- Fiscal responsibility of assigned assets/property
- Adherence to all local/state/federal laws
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and able to pass a background check
- High School Diploma/GED
- Some experience in the low-voltage/audio-visual field(s)
- Attention to detail, particularly with wiring and design plans
- Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs
- May require standing or stooping for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in tight spaces, dimly lit spaces, and on a ladder
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A/V Certification(s)
- Associates Degree
- 2-years of multifaceted A/V and/or L/V integration experience
- Troubleshooting skillset to resolve problems at or immediately above level
POSITION DETAILS
- Available full-time or part-time
- Pay Range: $13 - $18/hour
- Paid time off

- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 with a 1-hour lunch
