What are the responsibilities and job description for the DME Billing Clerk - DME position at Comanche County Hospital Authority?
DEFINITION:
Responsible for accurate entry, RX/CMN monitoring, Verifies coding, Billing Procedures, Hold Reports, Patient files, Accounts Receivables and billing inquires.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate preferred.
Formal medical secretarial or equivalent experience to include a medical terminology course is desirable.
Must be efficient with computer skills, use a ten-key, multi-phone lines, good written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum of 6 months to one year experience in a hospital business office involving third party billing is desirable.
