About the Role:
Combustion Associates Inc. (CAI) is looking for a dynamic and organized Project Manager/Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a critical role in ensuring that all departments are working efficiently and cohesively by coordinating tasks, managing project schedules, and facilitating communication across the company. You will be responsible for creating daily reports to the CEO, helping streamline processes, and driving projects to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth communication and project flow.
- Prepare and deliver daily reports on project status, progress, and potential issues directly to the CEO.
- Manage and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project software, ensuring all timelines are met.
- Expedite project-related activities by coordinating with various departments such as engineering, production, and procurement.
- Monitor project pipelines and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Assist in organizing meetings and ensuring all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Identify bottlenecks and work with team members to implement solutions.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly.
- Help foster a collaborative environment across a small team of 9 employees.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Coordinator, or Expeditor, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the industrial sector or manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to work onsite in Corona, CA, and be available for in-person collaboration with the team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive results.
