Job Summary Responsible for formulating and defining systems and objectives based on a good understanding of applicable business systems. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity, limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise. Looking for an Anaplan developer (model builder level 1 & 2 certified) with a strong FP&A background to help lead a newly created Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate would be able to build relationships across Comcast Cable, understand the planning process and work towards delivering functionality in our Anaplan system. Strong analytical skills, adaptability to a quickly changing landscape would be help the candidate be successful. Comparable skills in similar systems like Oracle Hyperion Planning or TM1 would apply. Skills with administering other EPM systems like Oracle Essbase, EDMCS & ARCS is a plus. Job Description Core Responsibilities Lead Anaplan model development and serve as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions Translate existing spreadsheets and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality Provide significant feedback and progress updates promptly to the Business Partner and team Set up standard processes and documentation for Anaplan models Participate in data integration and migration solutions Work closely with senior leadership to guide employee strategy and measurement Partner on all aspects of identifying, evaluating, and communicating key insights that tell the story behind the numbers, our employee experience, and key drivers Enjoy Being part of a team and working in an “all hands on deck” environment, shifting between different types of tasks, working with several partners, and being passionate about storytelling. Ability to investigate the root cause of data and reporting issues Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation, as necessary. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related computer systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system. May review proposals, including gathering facts, analyzing data and preparing project overview which compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, availability of equipment and personnel etc. Recommends course of action. Functions as a liaison between the client, community and internal information technology and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems. Interacts closely with a matrixed cross-functional team, both field and corporate, in order to secure alignment and solution excellence. Creates clearly defined and mutually agreeable success metrics for each new system or process and establishes a plan to track, monitor and measure the success of those metrics. Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations. Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements. Leads/owns direction of the project(s) with limited guidance. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
