Come Sit Stay Pet Resorts, our Parker location, is seeking self motivated applicant(s) with experience or the desire to learn the skills necessary to handle Dogs and Cats during Pet Care while Boarding or in DayPlay Groups. Serious applicants should enjoy being around Dogs and Cats, thrive in an busy, active, fast paced work environment, like being outside and have good observation skills to manage Dogs during group play. There is a wealth of information and experience to be learned in animal care / behavior for the applicant that wants to gain knowledge.
Applicant(s) must have reliable year round transportation for all assigned shifts. Weekends and Holiday shifts are required. Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds. Job requires that you can physically handle large dogs, bending, moving, lifting and cleaning as required.

Summary
As a Kennel Attendant, you will be essential in providing high-quality animal care and ensuring the well-being of pets in our facility. Your core skills in animal handling, restraint, and pet care will be vital as you maintain a safe and clean environment for the animals. With premium skills in dog training and veterinary experience, you will support the health and behavior of the pets. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and heavy lifting will enhance the overall experience for pet owners and contribute to the smooth operation of our kennel.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kennel facilities by regularly cleaning and disinfecting areas.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinarian or supervisor.
- Assist in animal restraint and handling during grooming procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.
