Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services including washing, drying, and folding linens and garments. Your efforts will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens and towels using appropriate washing techniques and chemicals.
• Manage the cleaning process for hotel linen as needed, ensuring proper handling and care.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials in guest rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.
