Role and Responsibilities :
Performs the duties of a paying and receiving teller : cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safe deposit rent;
sells Official Checks; completes CTRs and Cash Log as needed; takes check orders; scans work for Branch Capture.
- Performs the duties of a Customer Service representative : opens new accounts; monitors check orders; cross-sells all accounts offered by the bank;
- assists customers with IRAs and IRA questions and with account inquiries and outgoing wires; uses Deposit Horizons daily;
Opens, balances, and closes Card Wizard machine daily. Makes / orders debit cards.
Performs the duties of a loan assistant : Assists loan officers with preparing loan approval and loan recap forms to send to loan processing, accepts loan payments and payoffs, assists branch personnel with any questions or problems about loans and any other loan assistant duties asked of the Universal Banker.
Complies with CIP requirements.
Balances cash vault on a rotating basis.
Orders office supplies as needed.
Answers telephone and assists customer or transfers to the appropriate person.
Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
Has a helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
Strives to improve the efficiency in his / her work area through cost savings.
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills :
Tact and public relations expertise
Ability to use calculator, PC, and teller machine
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
