JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: MECHANIC – HEAVY EQUIPMENT

LOCATION: AUBURN HILLS, MI

OBJECTIVE

The function of this position is to diagnose and repair CCC owned heavy construction equipment and smaller pieces as well.  The position will be assigned to a specific jobsite as the home base but may require travel to additional CCC jobsites to complete tasks. It also requires attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Diagnose and repair:
• CAT equipment
• Hyster lift trucks
• Broderson cranes
• Skytracks
• LP, gas and diesel engines
• 36 & 48 volt electrical systems
• Hydraulic systems

• Excellent understanding of how to diagnose and solve problems.
• Be able to work independently.
• Be thorough and accurate with paperwork.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on task to complete repairs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use email and learn other software required to diagnose equipment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Have your own basic tools.
• Have a Chauffeurs license and current medical card.
• Participate in our drug screen program.
