Responsibilities:Personnel assigned on shifts to carry out planned activities of the security program as well as any authorized duties relating to emergency management functions.
- Implements requirements of the Security Management Plan.
- Manages and coordinates responses to critical incidents.
- Monitors and documents actual and potential security breaches.
- Monitors existing security systems and technologies for possible security leaks or fraud.
- Conducts ongoing security orientation and training of assigned staff and may serve as Field Training Officer.
- Maintains a high level of visibility and provides an armed presence in the Emergency Department and Siena Hello Desk.
- Conducts routine safety patrols of assigned areas reporting safety and security issues within those areas.
- Responds to calls for Security presence within the Emergency Department and assists staff as requested.
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a security officer involving extensive public contact.
High School Diploma or GED Poses a valid State Driver's License or have the ability to obtain prior to hire date. = DRV LIC Certified to Carry Concealed
Weapon or applicable state license or able to produce proof of application awaiting their approved CCW hard card. = CT CCW
