• Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. 
• Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan TJC and other licensing/accreditation and regulatory agencies. 
• Administers patient care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. 
• Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties in accordance with the prescribed plan of care centered around activities of daily living. 
• Utilizes established hospital standards of care and practice to guide patient care activities.
• Follows the plan of care set by the registered nurse managing the individual needs of the patient with regards to their age and clinical diagnosis as indicated. 
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality during the hospital stay. 
• Embraces diversity by displaying sensitivity to different cultures and cultural backgrounds.

• Experience None required with EMT Certificate
• High School Diploma/GED
• AHA Basic Life Support - BLS/CPR

Preferred/Desired:

• • 1 yearr of acute care experience in a similar emergency room
