CHI Health St. Elizabeth founded by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration in 1889 is a full-service 260-bed nonprofit regional medical center in Lincoln Neb. St. Elizabeth specializes in the treatment areas of newborn and pediatric care women’s health burn and wound cardiology oncology emergency medicine orthopedics and neuroscience.
The gift Shop Clerk is responsible for the day to day operation of the gift shop. It is vital that customers feel welcomed when entering the shop. This is a part time position that focuses on providing excellent customer service. Duties include greeting customers, selling merchandise, pricing products, placing orders, supervising volunteers, creating displays for merdhandise
Responsibilities
Gift Shop Clerk (Approx 18 hrs per week)
Varied hours Gift Shop is open:
Location: St. Elizabeth, Lincoln, NE
- Serving customers in person and with telephone and on-line orders. Includes delivery to patient rooms and to employees.
- Determining price and marking merchandise for sale. Includes retrieving merchandise from dock and unpacking.
- Creating displays for general and holidays..
- Training and supervising volunteers.
- Placing orders of floral, food, sundries and working with the Foundation on additional purchases.
- Conducting inventoriy of merchandise.
- Maintaining a clean, inviting gift shop for visitors.
- Opening and closing of the gift shop with all reporting that is required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
