What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Prep Cook - Stout's Island Lodge position at Commonwealth Companies?
Stout’s Island Lodge is a magical resort located on an island in the middle of Red Cedar Lake near Rice Lake, WI. Our resort is well known for providing superior customer service, we are seeking to hire individuals who will honor and uphold this tradition.
Dishwashers/Prep cooks are expected to run and maintain the dishwashing area, return all washed items to their places,and assist with prep work for meals. Dishwashers also assist in packing rental dishes away after events and must be able to distinguishbetween rentals and our dishes and cookware. Dishwashers will also be asked to bus tables during busy periods.
DUTIES
Ensure everything brought to the dishwashing area is cleaned and put away.
Maintaining a pristine kitchen and dishwashing area through implemented cleaning regiment
Tables are bussed during busy periods.
Care and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
Reports directly to the Kitchen Manager.
Responsible for food safety, handling procedures and cleanliness.
Assist in successful execution of all catering events, from 15 to 175 people.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 year work experience desired
Ability to drive a boat a plus
Previous hospitality experience a plus
Ability to multi-task
Ability to problem solve
Ability to handle stressful situations
Food safety certification a plus
