THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Your position performs skilled journey level work in a variety of the building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and masonry trades in the construction, maintenance, and repair of park buildings, facilities, vehicles, and equipment. Your job involves using both hand and power tools to carry out carpentry tasks for park facilities, including maintenance, renovation, and construction work. Additionally, you will perform preventive maintenance and fixing vehicles, equipment, and tools to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal Full-time employment without benefits.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position performs in a seven (7) day a week operation and may be scheduled to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires you to possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
