Auditor 2

The audits you will be conducting include desk examinations of Nursing Facility cost reports. These examinations consist of financial reviews and evaluation of Long-Term Care providers from all geographic areas of the Commonwealth. Assignments are generally specific and distinctive in nature. 

Some other duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Research background and general information on the service providers and activities to be examined.

• Determine examination procedures to be used.

• Summarize and analyze documentation in order to reach a conclusion.

• Identify objectives and adjusts examination program as necessary for the review and testing of providers' records and procedures, in particular, expanding the scope of the examination to meet objectives, if necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as an Auditor 1; or
• One year of auditing experience and four years of accounting and/or additional auditing work; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting and one year of auditing experience.

Other Requirements:
