Human Resource Analyst 1 - DHS-Talent Management Division

As a Human Resource Analyst 1, you will responsible for managing hiring processes and talent planning services for Department of Human Services (DHS) organizations designated as field; interpreting merit system regulations, policies, and procedures; and providing consultative services to hiring managers regarding succession planning and hiring options associated with posting and filling vacancies, as well as interviewing and selecting candidates.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Note: Worksite to be determined based on location of the selected candidate.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. The headquarters office location for this position will be determined based on the selected candidate. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Successful completion of the Human Resource Management Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year as a Human Resource Assistant 2 or an Equal Opportunity Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of paraprofessional analytical experience and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
