Overview:
The Executive Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the operations of the community. They are a true leader who inspires others and is passionate about service. The Executive Director is responsible for implementing and executing company policies and programs. They work closely with department heads to coordinate resident care and ensure resident, family, and associate satisfaction. Additionally, the Executive Director acts as a Culture Ambassador, embodying and promoting the core values of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the well-being and health of residents in the community
- Coordinate care and services for residents, including oversight of nursing and care staff
- Model the company's core values and maintain a positive image for the community
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and recruit top performers
- Complete all necessary paperwork required by regulatory agencies
- Engage in direct marketing activities to promote the community and recruit staff
- Act as the point person for licensing inspections
- Drive company vehicles as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Meet all requirements of the State of Virginia Department of Social Services Standards and Regulations for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities
- Two years of post-secondary education required; college degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role in senior housing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality
- Demonstrated integrity, maturity, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with State Department of Social Services Standards and Regulations for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities
