What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Audio Video Technician position at Communication Innovators?
Lead Audio Video Technician:
Prepare, install, test and commission A/V equipment.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and A/V Engineers.
Authority:
Makes decisions that correspond with Communication Innovators policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Networking/AV background preferred
- 2-4 years of A/V experience
- Communication Proficiency
- Organizational Skills
- Customer/Client Focus
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities
- Ability to travel on short notice
Responsibilities:
- Interacts with co-workers, vendors, the general public and representatives of other organizations to obtain and disseminate information, advise on projects, resolve conflicts, set priorities, coordinate activities, complete projects within time and budget constraints, and provide assistance.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation needed to execute project on time and under budget
- Prepare, install, test and commission A/V and networking equipment
- Able to adapt to change in scope of work, work hours, project size and travel
- Ability to manage different personalities as it applies to the job
- Other duties as assigned
Performance Measurements:
- Adherence to Time sheet and expense report policies
- Minimum customer satisfaction rating to be determined
- Installation quality
