Communities Connected for Kids provides community based services for children and families in the child welfare system, so all children grow to their full potential. Based out of Port St. Lucie, FL, this position is responsible for the complete licensing file attestation process and serves as the agency liaison to foster parents, relative/non-relative caregivers, fictive kin, and case management. Additional duties include:
- Review Level I-V foster care initial and re-licenses for compliance with FL statute, administrative code, DCF operating procedure, and submit required paperwork timely to the DCF region.
- Process Caregiver Support Program Requests for services.
- Serve as an agency liaison with subcontracted child placing agencies, and case management staff.
- Serve as an agency liaison to foster parents to ensure population needs are met.
- Attend Quality Parenting Initiative Committee meetings and participate in all Quality Parenting Initiative events.
- Coordinate and provide ongoing in-service training for all caregivers and case management staff.
- Participate in the quality improvement process and COA accreditation process.
Devereux CBC provides child welfare services in Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties. As the community-based lead agency, Devereux is responsible for managing child abuse prevention and family preservation programs to help keep children safe in their homes, while also providing quality services to children in out-of-home care, and finding adoptive homes for those children in need of forever families.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Social work or human services related field.
- Florida Certification Board Child Welfare Certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of foster home licensing.
- Ability to navigate Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) required.
- Minimum of two years of dependency case management experience preferred.
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and safe driving record.
Must be able to work flexible hours that may include evenings and occasionally special Saturday events.
