What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safe Havens Center Security Guard position at Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP)?

CAP is seeking a Safe Havens Center Security Guard in our Safe Havens Program. The Security Guard provides safety & security for the Center's participants. The security guard will screen for safety issues, be present for all supervised visits and monitored exchanges, and ensure that unauthorized person will not be allowed entrance into the center.
Completion of a minimum of 60 credit hours in a regionally accredited or NYS registered college, or High School Diploma/GED and two years of related work experience. Must have reliable transportation and a clean and valid NYS Drivers License.
This position is part-time, non-exempt with a pay rate of $19.44 per hour. Evening and weekend availability required.
