What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Veterinary Technician position at Community Animal Hospital?
Community Animal Hospital is a general practice hospital located in Shrewsbury, MA. We offer a wide variety of services such as surgery (general and orthopedics), preventative care, emergency visits, ultrasound, radiology, laboratory testing, dental procedures, and digital dental imaging. We are a 7 doctor practice looking to grow our technical department. We have an immediate opening for a Veterinary Technician to come join our family.
Our ideal candidate would:
- Have experience in exam room procedures
- Be familiar with venipuncture, radiology, laboratory procedures
- Have basic computer skills
- Have experience in customer service
- Be a team player
- Be able to multitask
- Be motivated to learn
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting
- Be a CVT

The schedule for this position includes some nights, Saturday/Sunday hours, and a holiday/weekend on call rotation.
