About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Seneca House. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting with daily living activities. Your primary goal will be to promote the physical and emotional well-being of our patients. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care. We run 12 hour shifts from 6PM to 6 AM or 6AM to 6PM. Minimum Qualifications:
As a CNA, you will use your strong communication skills to interact with patients and their families, as well as with other healthcare professionals. Minimum Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and transfer patients
- Experience working in a long-term care facility
- Experience working with patients with dementia or Alzheimer's
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
