Our Family Practice Rotterdam is hiring a full-time Patient Support Representative to join their team!
The hours are Monday - Friday 8:15am - 4:45pm.
The primary responsibility of this role is to answer phones in a high-volume call center, and to schedule appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Answer multiple line phone system, forwarding calls to appropriate location or handling calls personally when appointments are needed.
- Remove messages from phone system and return calls to patients as needed.
- Cancel and reschedule patients when necessary.
- Schedule appointments for patients, following office protocols for access to care.
- Document verbal conversations and information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
- Transfer/retrieve office phones to/from answering service.
- Answer overflow of phone calls and direct appropriately.
- Process incoming telephone calls/messages based on office policy and procedure.
