Position Summary:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Manage the development of metrics, initiatives, and infrastructure that will support and improve the operations of the internal agency.- In conjunction with the VP/Marketing, assist with benchmarking the organization’s current marketing activities, performance, and investment against industry best practices. Through gap analysis, develop a roadmap for improvements and business case(s) for undertaking necessary changes.
- Oversee and manage the creation of digital and print marketing materials produced by graphic designers. Ensure materials support marketing efforts, provide consistent messaging and adhere to brand standards.
- As appropriate and with the buy-in of the leadership team, identify, recommend and lead the implementation of improvement opportunities, including directing cross-functional implementation teams, that will increase the overall effectiveness of CFCU’s internal creative agency.
- Support and manage activities of the tactical marketing team that provides creativity and content to digital marketing and member success teams as well as other departments in the credit union.
- Maintain a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff to meet the organization’s demands. Provide direction and leadership to staff with emphasis on delivering excellence in member service, achieving department goals, and teamwork.
- Assist in directing organization-wide efforts to effectively manage and allocate marketing resources – budget and people.
- Maintain the institutional memory of the organization by archiving promotional materials and maintaining a repository of credit union best practices.
- Develop and improve marketing processes to ensure consistent messaging and adherence to brand standards.
- Responsible for activities related to implementing brand and market strategy, achieving marketing targets and driving revenue.
- Assist in identifying changes in the marketing environment or competitive strategies, and evaluate and adjust the marketing plan accordingly.
- Act as managing editor and assist in overseeing designs to maintain a consistent brand voice and look across all marketing channels including the website, internal communications, advertising and media, retail merchandising, marketing collateral, event displays and promotions to ensure all organizational objectives are being met.
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent related experience.
- 3 years of leadership experience of creatives.
- Demonstrated advanced learning through educational achievement and/or Professional Product certifications.
- Passionate about strategic cross-enterprise solutions that broadly engage the community, CFCU’s leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of agile practices in an enterprise environment.
- Storyboarding, scripting, directing, and post-production experience of video, audio, and advertising.
- Excellent organization, time and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Timely work production.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Minimum of three years of progressive marketing leadership experience preferred.
