The Community Health Center of Franklin County is searching for a qualified Medical Assistant to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical providers and delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations
- Take vital signs, weight, and measurements
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- Update and maintain patient medical records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Answer phones and triage patient calls
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean and organized
- Perform other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in a medical setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Compassionate and patient-oriented demeanor
- Proficient in computer software, including electronic health records (EHR)
