Speech Therapist Job, 8 hour days, includes rotating weekends and holidays, Speech Therapy
Powers Health is hiring an inpatient speech therapist, MBSS competent, at the Community Hospital location.
Speech Therapist Roles and Responsibilities:
- Directs, supervises, evaluates and provides speech therapy services to patients as prescribed by the attending physician and under the therapy supervisor.
- Provides direct patient care, coordinating assigned patient loads and the work load of support personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school holding a Master's Degree in Speech Therapy.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence(CCC) in Speech Pathology granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association. Clinical Fellowship year (CFY-SLP) accepted with completion of CCC in 9-12 months.
- License/Registration/Certification: Indiana Licensure and current CPR certification.
- A basic understanding of federal and state regulations regarding billing, compliance, documentation, and supervision of support staff as they relate to the practice of relevant discipline.
- MBSS Competent
