Compensation
Salary Range: $26.28 - $36.58 per hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist. May measure, mix, count, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders. Participates in stock management by ordering, receiving and shelving product. Processes and adjudicates prescriptions through the electronic system. Works with insurance companies to assure billing and reimbursement. Processes patient charges and billing. Dispenses completed prescriptions to clients. Maintains prescription records.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
- Current CA Pharmacy Technician License.
- One (1) year of experience in outpatient pharmacy.
Preferred:
- Certificate from college or technical school.
- National Pharmacy Technician certification.
- Three (3) years of experience in outpatient pharmacy.
