General Overview:
Niagara Visions PROS is seeking a compassionate and motivated Supported Employment Coordinator to join our Mental Health Recovery Services division in Niagara Falls, New York. This role provides individualized services under the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to help program participants obtain and maintain meaningful employment in alignment with their personal vocational goals. The coordinator also supports individuals pursuing educational or technical training to promote long-term career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist participants in finding competitive employment based on their interests and goals
- Develop strong relationships with local employers and community partners
- Provide on-the-job coaching and follow-along supports
- Help participants enroll in and succeed in vocational training or education programs
- Collaborate with mental health and clinical teams to ensure holistic support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the human services field
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to recovery-oriented, person-centered support
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,355.00 - $42,764.00 per year
