Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are now hiring a Therap Training Coordinator in Phoenix, AZ. The Therap Training Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the training and monitoring of Therap Electronic Record System. This person will ensure all modules are fully functional, stay abreast of system upgrades and enhancements, and will provide end users with operational and training support.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system to ensure operational and security integrity
- Respond to requests for information, assistance, and support
- Deliver effective training to build user competency
- Provide individual or group training programs, either in person or remotely
- Participate in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within the organization
- Formulate a teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops
- Aid in the development and implementation of teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works
- Report on the progress of employees under guidance during training periods
- Revise the design of the training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness
- Ensure consistency of use and implementation across the organization
- Analyze data and communicate trends and areas of development to the Therap Administrator
- Identify areas where system or process improvements are possible, then collaborate with Therap Administrator to develop quality improvement plans
- Conduct periodic visits to regional offices and offer support in meeting quality objectives and benchmarks
- Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field plus one to two years related experience, or high school diploma and seven to ten years related experience
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Experience with Therap Electronic Record System preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions
- Technological expertise and web-based communication platforms that can be applied to training and project meeting functions
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
