What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Community Partners of Dallas?
Community Partners of Dallas is looking for a Program Director to join our team! The Program Director will oversee the organization’s various programs providing care and support to Dallas County’s abused and neglected children, including the Rainbow Room and Kids in Crisis programs as well as four annual Drive distributions. The Program Director will supervise a team of Program staff and report to the Vice President of Operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program direction and oversight – Ensure that CPD’s programs provide quality and impactful services to child welfare caseworkers and the children on their caseloads. These programs include the Rainbow Room, Kids in Crisis and CPD’s four annual drives.
Warehouse operations and optimization – Oversee efficient processing of donations and purchases in support of the organization’s programs and maintain a high level of organization and effective use of the warehouse space.
Monthly and annual reporting of program metrics, along with child welfare data provided by the State.
Budget management – Ensure organization’s programs are operating on budget and maximizing use of the organization’s resources.
Supervision of Program staff, including a Program Manager, Program Coordinator and Program Assistant.
Qualifications:
5 years working in child welfare or non-profit program management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Excels at both seeing the big picture and detail-oriented execution.
Bachelor’s degree.
Supervisory experience a plus.
Must be able to stand for 4 hours and lift a minimum of 20lbs.
