Position: Marketing and Development Coordinator
Location: Daytona Beach, FL
Salary Range: $37,000.00 DOE-We are offering a $2,000.00 sign on bonus.

Position Summary:
The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing overall communications efforts, working closely with appropriate staff within CPC as well as external contacts and various vendors. Serves as writer or editor for various internal and external agency publications. The position is also responsible for assisting with the full implementation of the agency’s Communications Plan.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and manages an annual Communications Plan for Community Partnership for Children.
- Responsible for preparing the agency’s Annual Report.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the agency’s website and social media platforms.
- Develops marketing campaigns for recruitment of mentors, foster parents and adoptive parents.
- Manage CPC’s google ads
- Attend public events to promote programs within CPC.
- Maintains positive media relations within the community. Actively promotes successes and programs to media contacts to facilitate articles and positive news stories. Coordinates and participates in interviews with staff, clients, board members, etc.
- Responsible for various newsletters related to the agency and specialized programs.
- Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork with staff and community providers.
- Lead special projects throughout the year.
- Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, skills and abilities):
- Excellent assessment skills and intervention strategies.
- Proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Google
- Demonstrated experience in public speaking and public relations.
- Two years experience in community relations, preferred.
- One year experience working with community non-profit agencies, preferred.
- Strong organization and coordination skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the community.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to travel, minimal.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
- At least 2 years experience in sales, marketing, or public relations
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to network and to make positive community connections.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software and Adobe Creative Suite.
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of the Child Welfare System.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Possess a current Background Clearance Screening Letter as required by DCF; and successfully complete the background screening requirements for Community Partnership for Children.
- If local travel is required, a Valid Florida driver’s license and documentation of current automobile insurance, with $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability limit, is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employee will work in an office/clerical environment. The employee will work predominantly seated with recurrent need to walk, stand, and bend from the waist. Occasional light lifting, stooping, and climbing may be required. Occasional local travel.
