Join our team of compassionate counselors! Community Service Foundation is seeking a full-time counselor to work in Buxmont Academy's Bethlehem campus this coming school year. If you are a dedicated and caring person who enjoys working with at-risk students, has excellent interpersonal skills, and relishes learning and new experiences, this position is for you!
Buxmont Academy and Community Service Foundation (CSF) are dedicated to providing education, counseling, and other services to help young people to grow and change through restorative practices. Buxmont Academy has 6 campuses in southeastern PA. Classes are small with a high teacher to student ratio, and our staff work together as a part of an educational and therapeutic team for each student.
The responsibilities of our counselors include but are not limited to promoting positive school culture, conducting behavioral interventions, and facilitating circles and groups. Counselors also manage regulatory paperwork and reports. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am to 4pm, Fridays until 3pm. There are no evening or weekend hours.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or higher level of education and behavioral support experience.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Talent in working with secondary school-aged students and ability to adapt to their developmental status.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high stress situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The capacity to work effectively both independently and with a team.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in counseling, education, or human services field. Experience in restorative practices is a plus.
