GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Responsible for collection of blood samples from patients of all ages.
- Facilitates collection and transportation of laboratory specimens.
- Ensure proper identification of all patients and specimens.
- Practice infection control standards at all times.
- Maintains quality results by following department procedures.
- Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Travel to other CWH sites to assist as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES

- BLS Certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Current Phlebotomy Certification.
- Clean driving record with current NC driver’s license and approved by corporate vehicle insurance vendor for driving privileges
Experience
Preferred- One (1) Year experience (Preferred)
Education
Preferred- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred- VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
