ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking Production Operators to join our Automotive Electronic Products (AEP) team in our Logansport, Indiana location. An assembler performs the assembly operation requirements for products built at COMPAL. An assembler is responsible to the line lead and/or supervisor to which they are assigned.
Major responsibilities:
- Follow work instructions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process and quality system
- Identify to line lead/supervisor any problems relating to the product, process and quality system
- Proper usage and care in handling of tools, materials, components and equipment
- Report all health and/or safety hazards, quality issues and potential production problems to a supervisor
- Keeping individual work area neat and clean
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one to three months related experience and/or training
- Reliable transportation
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities such as: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
TRAVEL: Less than 10%
