AAHA accredited, privately owned, small animal and exotic practice is seeking a veterinarian to join our hard-working and fun-loving team. We are a general practice. We are open to experienced or new graduate applicants in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
We are passionate about providing quality medicine at an affordable price and clients come from all over the greater Portland area and coastline to see us.
Here are what a few clients are saying about us:
s.g.
The vets and techs are professional and attentive, and gave me time to ask all my questions. I was very grateful for the "first come, first served" appointment style. I just moved and I have been having a really hard time finding vets that are taking new patients or that aren't booked out for weeks. This clinic made it possible for me to get my geriatric kitty in for an exam before I start my new job.
k. b.
I drive over 50 miles to bring my animals here vs. 4 miles to my local vets. They have better prices and more competent vets!
s. c.
This pet clinic is the only place I will take my pets as they don't overcharge, they're super friendly, and most of all I know they love my animals just as much as I do. They answer all my questions and I am so blessed to have them when I need them. Also, I didn't have to wait forever to get them in for their care.
We offer a competitive salary of up to $115,000 (for F/T) depending on experience and skill set.
- No Pro-Sal or commission pay.
- Great benefits include:
- 100% paid medical/dental/vision insurance
- Retirement account matched up to 3%
- 120 hours of annual PTO (F/T)
- $2000 annual CE allowance
- Liability and Malpractice insurance paid
- VIN membership paid
- Licensure/membership dues paid
Work-life balance- Full-time is a 4 day work week. Challenging cases, collaborate with our doctor team, surgery rotation, no "cookie-cutter" style medicine; practice as you see fit. Knowledgeable, well trained support staff.
Great opportunity for new graduates. We love mentoring!
Out of state and looking for better quality of life? We can discuss the possibility of relocation assistance. The Willamette Valley is a beautiful place to call home. Outdoor activities include skiing/hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, berry picking, beautiful flower festivals, and so much more. There is a great art scene here as well. Portland is less than 1 hour away; great restaurants, museums, music. Only 1.5 hours to get to either the coast or mountains. It's affordable to live here. The median home price in the Salem area is $395,000 and there is no sales tax in Oregon! It doesn't rain as much as you think but enough to keep everything green and lush. We have historically mild winters and summers. What more could you ask for?
