The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. This role will have the opportunity to own and shape the modeling function within the Data team and CompanyCam in general, provide guidance on our most important business decisions, and help everyone at CompanyCam better understand the data that drives their success.

In this Job You Will...

• Design and build a scalable dimensional modeling process that follows industry best practices using tools such as dbt, git, and BI software systems
• Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, and engineering as well as modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables
• Provide expert-level knowledge to the data team about dimensional modeling and other industry best practices.
• Consolidate 60% of our third-party data sources into a data warehouse.
• Work with stakeholders to achieve an internal data trust score (NPS) score over 75.
• Train business users on how to use visualization tools.

You MUST...

• Have 3 years in Data Analytics or Engineering
• Be proficient in dbt.
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, or other equivalent education or experience
• Share values, AKA a willingness to show up, grow up, and do good
• Be located in Lincoln, NE (or surrounding/commutable areas)

It'd be NICE if you...

• Have experience working with multiple solutions in data warehousing, ELT/ETL, and analytics/presentation tools
• Previously worked on scoping, selecting, and implementing data warehouses and BI stacks
• Have experience in a SaaS business
